August was left in a box at animal control in Philadelphia. She had been severely over-bred. What few teeth she had left were rotting and she was throwing up everything she ate. It took a few weeks to get her back to health and then when she was spayed, due to complications from having so many litters, she almost died. We're happy to say that she is doing well now, is happy, and although very shy, she is ready for her forever home!
